Ontario, Ohio

Ontario (On highway 1913-1921) Pop: 5,300

Always overshadowed by the bigger Mansfield, this town Ontario was founded in 1834 and named after the town in New York state. By 1880, Ontario had 200 citizens. Now it has found it's place in history as a key retail center due to its large area surrounding exits along US 30 west of Mansfield.

If following the 1920 1913 route, stay on S. R. 309 when heading west out of Mansfield to Galion in Crawford County. If following the 1920 route, follow route 330 (Lincoln Highway) to Crestline in Crawford County.
